Design Tree and Purenn Launch EU-Backed R&D Project for Smart Filling Technology

Within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Facility Operational Programme “Latvia’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, Reform and Investment Direction 1.2 ‘Improving Energy Efficiency’, Investment 1.2.1.2.i ‘Improving Energy Efficiency in Business (including the transition to renewable energy technologies in heat supply and R&D activities (including bioeconomy))’, Sub-Measure 1.2.1.2.i.2 ‘Development of Innovative Products and Technologies’, SIA MASOC KC is implementing Project No. 1.2.1.2.i.2/1/24/A/CFLA/008 “MASOC KC Support for the Development of Green Products” from July 12, 2024, to December 31, 2027.

Within the framework of the project “MASOC KC Support for the Development of Green Products”, Design Tree SIA., in collaboration with Purenn Group SIA., launched research project No. Z.1.5 on July 1, 2025, titled: “Development of a multifunctional, automated filling machine that will ensure higher production efficiency, workplace safety, and quality control in the manufacturing process.”

The goal of the research project is to develop an innovative and environmentally friendly group of products in the household chemicals segment, while simultaneously creating a multifunctional, automated filling machine that improves production efficiency, work safety, and quality control in manufacturing.

The project is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2026. The total project budget is EUR 361,000.00, of which EUR 233,000.00 is financed by the European Union Recovery Fund
